Low Bald Fade
Tutorial by Love the Barber
The Low bald fade with a two on top this is one of the hardest hair cuts to blend. Fading out the baldness can at first seem impossible. Lucky for you, you found this tutorial from someone who has perfected the process down to a T.
Step 1 :
First step is to take your clippers and bald the side, only an inch above the ear. You must make the line straight as possible.
Step 2 :
Next step, take your electric shaver to make the side as bald as possible. Do not take the electric shaver all the way to the top of the first line you created - leave a little hair at the 0 so you can you use this for your blend .
Step 3 :
Next step, take your clipper and open it to the one blade and create your next line, slightly dropping towards the back.
Step 4 :
Next step is to fade the hair out with your 000, & 0A until you get to the one. Working to create a smooth blend.
Step 5 :
Next step is to take your outliners and remove the hard line that was on the bottom of the hair. Not too hard - slightly pluck at the bottom, being careful not to put anther line in the hair cut.
Step 6 :
Next step is to take your 1 1/2 blade and go up, slightly underneath the crown.
Step 7 :
Fade out the 1 1/2 with the 1 guard on the clipper using the 1, Oa and 1 1/2 to fade out the 1 1/2 line.
Step 8 :
Open up your 1 1/2 clipper and fade to the crown of the head. You may have to move the clipper in different directions to take out the line because taking out the line can be harder if you go straight at it.
Step 9 :
Take your 2 guard and cut the top of the head going against the grain. Make sure all the hair is even on the top.
Step 10 :
Next step take your 1 1/2 guard and fade slightly over the crown of the head so the blend can look smoothly running into hair.
Final Step :
Shape up the hair with your clippers, then finally razor to complete this hair cut.
Working these steps will give you the confidence and speed you need to succeed.
